My Method for Data Projects

Adapted from the Google Data Analytics framework, this process acts as a scientific method for data. I use it to organize workflows and guide teammates, enhancing the standard analysis phase with Python scripting and automation.

Communicate with stakeholders and domain experts to understand context and desired outcomes , and the question(s) being asked.
Use this knowledge to create a clear list of questions being asked and define a successful end goal to work towards.

Prepare

Determine what data you need, whether it exists or needs to be collected. Locate and gather it from all relevant sources.
Clean, format, and structure the data to be ready for analysis.

Process

Use statistical and computational techniques to explore the data, identify patterns, and extract insights.
Create visualizations to help understand trends and relationships within the data.

Analyze

Interpret the results of the analysis in the context of the original questions and goals.
Identify key findings, trends, and insights that address the questions being asked.

Communicate the findings and insights to stakeholders through reports, presentations, or dashboards.

A lightweight algorithm that generates realistic code replications using positional character weights. Includes analytics for understanding and reverse-engineering generation methods.

Newton's Laser Tag - Company Website

Mobile laser tag website featuring a custom mileage calculator for travel fees. I got the calculator working by stuffing the logic into a single embed block to avoid upgrading the hosting plan.
